What is Orygin?

Orygin is a digital, personalized sleep care program for women, available in a convenient mobile app for iOS.  The program improves sleep and reduces sleep anxiety with the most effective methods from top-tier sleep clinics, including strategies based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). It's an evidence-based, sustainable solution to improve your sleep in just weeks — all from the comfort of your home, with no need for sleeping pills or melatonin.

Who is Orygin for?

Orygin is designed to help women who have difficulties falling asleep and staying asleep. It is not intended to resolve other sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, sleepwalking, restless leg syndrome, or night terrors. In addition, if you have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder, it may be best to consult your healthcare provider before using this program.

No, you don’t have to stop taking sleep medication to start CBT-I. Many people begin CBT-I while still using sleep medication. Over time, as you see improvements in your sleep, you may naturally reduce or stop medication. Always consult your healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication.

Do you prescribe medication?

No, we do not prescribe medication. Our program is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a proven, non-medication approach that addresses the root causes of insomnia. CBT-I offers long-term, natural solutions for better sleep, without the need for sleep aids or pills.

How long is the program?

The duration of our program at Orygin is customized according to your unique needs. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we believe in curating a sleep regimen that is attuned to your personal requirements and the factors that cause insomnia for you.
While the exact duration can vary from one individual to another, we have noticed that a minimum commitment of two months yields the best results.

How old do I have to be to start the program?

The minimum age for participation in the Orygin program is 18. If you are under 18 years old, please consult your healthcare provider for care advice with your sleep.

Currently Orygin is only available on iOS mobile devices.

Orygin is available internationally, but please note that your coach will be located in the United States, and will be available for messaging during standard United States business hours M-F. Our coaches are all English-speaking only at this time.
